Erin Lane
Artistic Director
Erin Lane moved to Chicago five years ago from Northern California, where she was performing with small theatre companies, improvising professionally and living in a two bedroom apartment with nine other people. She graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a B.A. in Theatre Arts. She also graduated from the Second City Conservatory here in Chicago as well as from IO and Annoyance Productions. She truly believes in the power of small, independent theatre and has performed for several of them in Chicago including Bailiwick Theatre, Ludicrous Theatre, Polarity Ensemble Theatre, and 20th Century Players. She has been performing professionally for over ten years, five of them here in Chicago, and has been directing for two. She founded Red Ink Theatre with Managing Director, Brian Bush, in June, 2007.

Brian Bush
Ensemble
Brian Bush moved to Chicago three years ago, after receiving his degree in Theatre from the University of Idaho. He is a certified stage combat instructor and has performed with several companies including Western Washington Repertory, Idaho Shakespeare Repertory, Polarity Ensemble Theatre, Echo Road, and Gorilla Tango. He has been performing professionally for over seven years and founded Red Ink Theatre with Artistic Director, Erin Lane, in June, 2007.

Eric Branson
Production Manager
Eric Branson has designed lights for LiveWire Chicago, Red Twist, Hell in a Handbag Productions, and Polarity Ensemble Theatre. He has also designed sound for the Michigan Shakespeare Festival for the past two seasons. Eric has also worked with About Face, Lookingglass, NeXt, and Chicago Shakespeare theatres. He joined Red Ink Theatre in the summer of 2008. He came to Chicago from Idaho where he would get drunk with Brian Bush and Anna Schlegel and yell about the true nature of theatre. Nothing was ever decided.

Erin Johnson
Marketing Director
Born and raised on the outskirts of Chicago, Erin moved into this city almost 7 years ago. She graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a B.A. in Theatre. She has enjoyed working with many different theatre companies and growing as an actor. She has studied with Profiles Theatre and graduated from iO Theatre Chicago's training program. She has been working with Red Ink Theatre since December of 2008.

Mathan Stoner
Ensemble / Graphic Designer
Nate has lived in Chicago for 5 years and holds a B.A. in Theatre Arts from Columbia College Chicago. He has worked with Ludicrous Theatre, 20th Century Players and MidTangent Productions among others. He has been working with Red Ink Theatre since its conception in 2007. He is currently attending the Illinois Institute of Art-Chicago for a second Bachelor's in Visual Communications.

Anna Schlegel
Managing Director
Raised in Idaho and graduate of the University of Idaho Fine Arts department, Anna moved to Chicago in October of '06. Anna can also been seen as Lainey in Bare Boned Theatre's The Ville, every Monday at Mary's Attic. Other favorite projects include: Five Women Wearing the Same Dress, A Flea in Her Ear and Meet Me in St. Louis. She has been working with Red Ink Theatre since the Spring of '08.

Robert Ertel
Ensemble
Robert has been performing, directing and producing in Chicago since 2001. Companies he has worked with include Bailiwick, Polarity Ensemble, Theatre-Hikes, Ludicrous, and Lincoln Square. Robert holds a degree in Theatre from UIC. He has been working with Red Ink Theatre since January of '08.

Alex Myerchin
Ensemble
Alex Myerchin recently moved to Chicago from Southern CA after graduating with a degree in Theatre from UC Riverside. He is currently in the Conservatory at Second City and performs stand-up regularly. He has performed everything from Shakespeare to musicals throughout various community and college theatres. Favorite projects include The Winter's Tale, Urinetown, Cabaret, Rumors, and The Shape of Things. He is thrilled to be the newest member of Red Ink!
